If your nearest neighbour can't hear your alarm, monitoring is the alarm.

Serving Rural Ottawa & Surrounding Communities from 36 Capital Drive, Nepean · 24/7 monitoring · 613-233-1115

From Constance Bay to Kemptville and Carp to Rockland, we install and monitor security systems across the entire rural ring around Ottawa. Out here the case for professional monitoring is simple: on a country property, a siren nobody hears protects nothing. A monitored system means a live operator sees the alarm the second it trips and starts the response — 24/7/365, whether you're home, at work, or south for the winter.

Built for country properties

Base systems monitor through your home internet (Wi-Fi or wired) — and out here, when the internet drops, the monitoring connection drops with it. That's why rural installs usually add optional cellular backup, which keeps the system reporting over the cell network when internet or power fails (add-on: one-time equipment and activation charge plus an additional monthly fee, quoted upfront). Add outbuilding and barn coverage on the same panel, driveway and yard cameras, and monitored smoke, CO, flood and low-temperature sensors — because a frozen pipe or a failed furnace can do more damage than a break-in.

One company for the whole ring

Same First Alert equipment, same live 24/7 monitoring, same free takeover of existing systems — whether you're in a village, on a farm, or in a new subdivision at the edge of town.

Questions

Rural Ottawa & Surrounding Communities questions, answered.

Is my community covered?

If it's in the list on this page — or anywhere between those communities — yes. If you don't see your town, call 613-233-1115; the answer is almost certainly yes anywhere in Eastern Ontario within an hour of Ottawa.

Does monitoring work with rural internet?

The base system monitors through your internet, so a dropped rural connection means dropped monitoring. Optional cellular backup solves it — the system reports over the cell network whenever internet or power fails, and the monitoring station sees the failure itself and calls you. It's an add-on: a one-time equipment and activation charge plus an additional monthly fee, quoted upfront before anything is installed.

Do you charge more for rural service calls?

Monitoring costs the same everywhere: $9.99/month for your first year, then $14.99 + HST for a standard system or $16.99 + HST for a VISTA H3. Alarm.com, GSM/cellular, camera or doorbell service are additional monthly fees, quoted upfront when we discuss your options — everything upfront, no hidden agenda. Paid by pre-authorized bank payment (void cheque). Installation is quoted per property, and we tell you the full number before anyone drives out.
