Monitoring subscriber sheet

This is the information the monitoring station needs on your account: who to call, in what order, and what you want to happen if nobody can be reached. It takes about five minutes.

How this is protected. Everything you type is encrypted the moment it reaches our server, using a key our web host does not hold. Nobody can read it back off the website — not us, not anyone who got into the site. It is opened only in our office, on a password-protected console, and deleted once it is on your account. We do not email it to ourselves; our own notification says nothing more than "a sheet arrived".
Two things we will never ask for on a web form. Your alarm passcode or duress word — we call you for it. And your banking details — pre-authorized payment is set up in person with a void cheque. If anything claiming to be from us asks for either one online, it is not us. Call 613-233-1115.
What are you sending us?
Which account?

Enough for us to find it. We confirm the change with you before it goes live.

Who we call, and in what order

Send the whole list, in order. It replaces the list we have now.

At least two people. The station works down this list in the order you set. Tick the boxes for anyone who holds a key, and for anyone allowed to cancel an alarm with the passcode.

Everyone who could set off the alarm

Anyone who lives in the home or comes and goes regularly and could trip the alarm by accident — family, a teenager, a cleaner, a dog walker, a caregiver. If they are already on the call list above, you do not need to list them again. It helps the station tell a mistake from a problem.

Keep these numbers handy

False alarm in progress? Call the monitoring station first — Lanvac, 1-877-526-8221, 24 hours. Have your account number and verification password ready.

Any other emergency with your system after hours: Accurate Security, 613-738-8779. Office: 613-233-1115, Monday to Friday, 8 to 5.

When your alarm goes off and nobody answers

Nothing is dispatched until the station has tried you and worked through your call list. What happens after that is your decision. To change it later, send this sheet again and choose Change my dispatch choices only.

1. If nobody on your list can be reached *

Neither the guard price nor the police fee is ours, and both can change — we go through the current numbers with you.

2. Main emergency contacts — alarm texts to cancel a false alarm before anyone is sent *

When an alarm comes in, the station can text first, so a false alarm can be cancelled straight away before anything is dispatched. Whoever cancels will be verified. Choose up to 2 people.

Emergency buttons, fire, CO and water

These are separate from the burglary choices above — even on Notify only, fire, medical, carbon monoxide and water alarms are always handled as shown below. Not sure you have a panic pendant? Answer anyway; it only applies if you do.

Your emergency numbers — who we call first *

For a keypad button, a panic pendant, or a fire, medical or carbon monoxide alarm, we call up to 2 numbers first, then the emergency service, then the rest of your call list. Tick the phone at the property if you have one; if not, tick your main contact.

Please read. Any fees for an emergency callout are the homeowner’s responsibility. Once the emergency service has been called, cancelling it is not guaranteed and any charges still apply. That is why these should be numbers that will answer — and why we give you two. This is an emergency that needs priority help.

Keypad POLICE button — when it is pressed *

Panic button or pendant — set for hold-up or panic *

Always handled this way
Keypad FIRE button, smoke or heat detectorWe call your emergency numbers. If nobody answers, the fire department is dispatched.
Keypad MEDICAL button or medical pendantWe call your emergency numbers and dispatch an ambulance.
Carbon monoxide alarmWe call your emergency numbers and dispatch the fire department.
Water leak or low-temperature sensorWe notify your list. Nobody is dispatched.

After the emergency call is made, we call the rest of your call list.

For example: someone at home who cannot come to the phone, a different order for fire calls, or a button you want set up differently. We will contact you if it cannot be set up exactly this way.

What responders should know

Where the driveway is, a gate, a dog, which door to use, where the panel is.

Mobility, medical, someone home during the day, hazards on the property. Only what you are comfortable telling us — it is your call.

Your alarm passcode — we call you for it

Your passcode and duress word are never typed into a website or sent by email. Choose who we should call to set them up, and a good time.

Who should we call? *

Billing contact

Contact details only. Pre-authorized payment is set up separately, in person, with a void cheque — never through this form.
